Special Response Officer (SRO)
Due to the increased threat of terrorism in our country and in keeping with the highest standards of the security industry, Security Alliance has implemented a recruiting process designed to recruit qualified Security Officers who can become skilled frontline emergency responders which are trained to effectively handle emergency contingencies.
This elite group of Security Officers must have prior experience in military and/or law enforcement. They must pass a strict 40-hour Special Response Officer (SRO) course at our training academy and are required to be licensed with the state of Florida and pass a 24 hour advanced training in weapons handling and deadly force.
Industries such as airports, hospitals, shopping centers, professional buildings, and gated communities could benefit from these highly training and skilled officers. SRO’s are trained to react to any emergency crisis with full competence in their ability to adequately handle or reduce any potential threat. Training consist of:
